Credit Union Executives to Camp Out in Office Park

Junior Achievement fundraiser supports financial literacy initiative


Lenexa, KS (04/16/2007) -- Executives of CommunityAmerica Credit Union will camp out in the office park near their corporate headquarters Tuesday night to raise funds for Junior Achievement.

On Tuesday, April 17, at 4 p.m., executives will set up camp and serve employees with freshly toasted s'mores. They have agreed to camp out until the company signs up 36 teams to participate in and raise money for the Junior Achievement Bowl-a-thon. Matt Dillane, CEO of Junior Achievement, will cook dinner for the executives at their camp site on Tuesday night.

On Wednesday, April 18, at 10 a.m., fourth graders from Sunflower Elementary School in Lenexa will visit the campsite for a Junior Achievement lesson, followed by cookout lunch served by the executives.
