Internet Explorer 10 Settings

Issues with IE 10 could be related to a TLS version setting. The reason it happens more on IE 10 is the browser when installed can have this configured to utilize version 1.2.

  1. Check to see if IE10 ( or any later version of IE) has TLS 1.2 checked.
  2. If so then have them check 1.0.  This should alleviate some of the issue you have been seeing with “odd” behavior with IE browser (10).

Internet Explorer 11 Settings

To troubleshoot IE11 issues until we formally support the browser, your users currently have two options:

Update TLS settings

  1. Click the gear icon to open the IE settings menu
  2. Select "Internet Options" near the bottom of the list
  3. Click the "Advanced" tab at the top of the Internet Options box
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the "Settings" menu and uncheck "Use TLS 1.0", "Use TLS 1.1", and "Use TLS 1.2"
  5. Click "Apply", then "Okay"
  6. Close IE11 and open it again
  7. Attempt to access internet banking

Uninstall IE11 and roll-back to IE9/IE10 (this will cause loss of cache/cookies)

  1. Navigate to the official Microsoft IE9/IE10 download page
  2. Download the installer for IE9/IE10
  3. Click the "Start" button on your PC taskbar (does not apply to Windows 8)
  4. Open Control Panel
  5. Open "Programs and Features" (Windows 7) or "Add/Remove Programs" (Windows XP)
  6. Locate IE11 on the list and uninstall
  7. Navigate to location of IE9 installer that was previously downloaded
  8. Install and open IE9/IE10
  9. Click the gear icon to open the IE settings menu
  10. Select "Internet Options" near the bottom of the list
  11. Click the "Advanced" tab at the top of the Internet Options box
  12. Click the "Reset..." button next to "Reset Internet Explorer settings" section near the bottom of the box

The first option may resolve the issue for users who are not able to see accounts after logging into IB, but the second option is more likely to resolve all issues related to IE11 since the browser is being completely removed.
